BMW i3 LIM CCS Fast Charging module

Description

The full German name of the LIM is the Lade Interface Modul or the Charge Interface Module.

Basically it handles the charge station communication and interfacing for both AC and DC charging. Further details can be found in my blogpost ‘CCS fast charging in DIY‘ and of course on Openinverter.

This listing is for a used LIM_AC_DCO. So the version with a Mac address so it should be suitable for CCS DC charging. However, I have not (individually) tested these LIM’s so cannot guarantee you can get them to work based on the reverse engineering info Damien has shared.

A connector kit is available separately as well as the contactors you need with the LIM and the Voltage Sense Board.
