Brake line nut pair M10x1 for 3/16″ (= 4,75 or 5 mm) line

Using an iBooster from a Tesla, Volkswagen or any other iBooster donor vehicle can be a challenge. Most master cilinders you find on an iBooster use a M12x1 brake nut and a 6 mm brake line. Most older cars use 3/16″ or 4,75 mm or sometimes 5 mm brake line.

You can in theory find M12x1 brake nuts for 3/16″ line, but in my view flaring such a small line to the seat intended for 6mm is a challenge. You can use a pair of M12x1 to M10x1 adapters as reducers.

Next, you can use these M10x1 brake nuts to install 3/16″ or 4,75 / 5 mm brake like. Do make sure you produce and use the correct flares!

This kit consists of two nuts.
