Description
This dummy 8s module kit allows you to test your cell tap wiring when connecting to an aftermarket BMS.
The pinout of the connector is identical to the 8s Volkswagen battery module. Further details can be found in my Using MEB battery modules blogpost.
The PCB is fitted with either a brown or blue connector which is modified to accommodate the white module connector from the cell tap harness. The PCB also has two thermistors to simulate those.
Furthermore the cell outputs have 200 mA fuses.
The 18650 holders are included but you need to solder them yourself. They are suitable for 62mm 18650 cells.
