Description

12V wiring can be quite a challenge. Especially if you need a few relays and conditions the number of connections and wires can add up quickly. The ‘dash-board’ is a helper PCB that integrates all kinds of analog signals and simplifies your wiring typically done under the dash.

Features basic version

  • BMS-on and trigger discharge enable when ignition on
  • Converting starter motor pulse (+optionally brake pedal press requirement) to ‘started’ signal if no charge plug in (and drops when plug inserted). This ‘started’ signal is typically used to enable an inverter. It needs an “external” OKtoDrive input (either active low or active high) from a device monitoring the charge port proximity.
  • Prepared to work with DNR switch.
  • Onboard buzzer sounds if started and door is opened. Optionally if the gear selector via the the ‘dash-board’ is used, also Forward or Reverse selected can be added as a requirement for the buzzer to sound.
  • Also has two DB9’s as RS232+CAN or configurable as 2x-CAN
  • Some spare CANs via Molex pins and optional termination
  • A ‘test port’ to manually trigger BMS-on and charge or discharge enable.

Extended version (out of stock)

The extended version has a 12V battery guard which turns BMS-on and triggers discharge enable for 10 minutes if the 12V battery voltage drops below 11,9V. That undervoltage monitor is also available separately.
