ECC or in full Electric Classic Cars is among the biggest EV conversion shops in the UK. They have done numerous conversions from Ferrari to Defender and from Volkswagen Beetle to Porsches. For many of these cars they provide bolt on kits. So you can high-end electric Porsche that probably handles better than it used to.
Their installer in Scandinavia is Tom Zidek from Vintage Volts and I had the opportunity to work with them and install one of ECC’s kits in a beautiful Porsche 911. In the below video Moggy explains all details of this kit.
I’m proud to be a supplier for them both both some standard products and my integrated AC and CCS DC fast charging solution. It is nice to see that all my R&D worked out and ended up in a plug and play solution that works instantly.
Well prepared kit
When working on it with Tom I must say it is a very well prepared kit. The whole low voltage ‘EV loom’ is prepared and nicely taped with black cloth tape. All connectors are labeled and a counter connector is provided at the place it is needed in a small bag with the pinout. To my pleasure they use the Molex MX150 like I do so easy to crimp at high quality. The controllers including mine are nicely tucked away under the seat.
It was nice working with you Tom on installing this ECC kit in this beautiful electric Porsche 911.
Looking forward to continue working with both ECC and Tom in the future.
